Knights of Columbus:
Catholic men's organization that provides social and service activities. Provides support to numerous charities in the community. Must be 19+ years of age, a practicing Catholic, and duly initiated. Catholic War Veterans' Post 1950:
This organization was established to promote zeal and devotion to God, country, and home. Projects include: adopting a family of deployed local military members; assisting families of recently deceased military members/veterans; assisting with the annual military stand down; Assisting re-entry into society, work, and other need areas for recently returned deployed military members; coordinating and co-participating with other veteran groups for honoring veterans during special veteran day celebrations; honoring recently deceased veterans during memorial celebrations and burials; promoting patriotism in the local Catholic school. This group meets each fourth Tuesday night at 7:00 pm, at St. Pius X Church, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
