Soup Kitchen (at St. Pius X Catholic Church):
Volunteer to help with the preparation and serving of a meal every Friday for those in need in our community. Preparation begins midday and finishes with a meal served later in the afternoon.
Ecumenical Soup Kitchen (at First Presbyterian Church):
Provide food and service for the Ecumenical Food Kitchen on a rotating basis with other churches. The sign-up for food donations is after our mass in the Hospitality Room.
Funeral Dinners:
When requested, help with a luncheon and hospitality for family after funeral in the Hospitality Room. Volunteers coordinate food preparation, serve, and clean-up the meal.
Food Pantry:
Groceries from the food collection are sorted and distributed to people who come to the parish seeking assistance. Volunteers sort and package food products as needed for distribution.
Catholic Charities of North Idaho:
Join a regional effort to further charitable ministries through development, vision setting, and committee work.
Another Outlook:
Join a ministry that offers support, friendship, and spiritual enrichment for widows and widowers. Meetings are held once a month.
Ourtreach Commission:
Supports the Outreach Program by collecting and distributing limited clothing, personal care items, and school supplies prior to the commencement of school. Contact Roxanne Dykes at 208-772-6866.
