CATHOLIC MEN'S RETREAT

An Update from Retreat Director, Clarence Kast: The 14th annual men’s retreat was held at Camp N Sid Sen on Lake Coeur d’ Alene. Father John Shetler of Mesa, AZ, was our Retreat Master. We had a record attendance of 106 men. By all accounts, this year’s retreat was the best ever. An example of a few comments made by men who attended include: “It was a renewal in my faith,” “This retreat filled a gaping hole in me,” “I love the support of other Catholic gentlemen like myself,” “As good as it gets!,” “I am reconciled and refueled,” and “I came feeling cold and am leaving feeling a fire in my soul again.”
St Pius X parishioners can be justly proud of this great ministry to Catholic Men. This ministry started 14 years ago by St Pius X lay men and it continues to be supported by Father Roger LaChance. The Retreat Committee appreciates the support of the parish, not only financially, but by your prayers. Our local Knights of Columbus council also continues to support this ministry.
